"The Road Home"

A Closer Look at the Background to the concert

From the Conductor

I wanted to craft a concert with music that tells a story and connects to everyone as it speaks about the human experience. I chose words like wanting, plea, hoping, prayer, faith, and suffering. The music in this concert expands on these words by taking the listener through a series of different experiences. The text, coupled with the music, creates beautifully, moving music. I hope that those who come to listen will find healing in this music as well as connect with it as it highlights parts of everyone's lives.
